Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor, is most well-known for his part in the show on television 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. His love for acting started in his early college days. He pursued acting classes at University of Colorado at Boulder. He has appeared in both films and television, but it was his small-screen characters that earned him fame as well as an extensive fan base. His ability to play characters from both sides of the law has captured the attention of the public. His initial project was a serial on television, however, he was later cast in the role of a NYPD detective. Due to his work on the small screen, he's garnered many nominations to the prestigious Emmy Awards as well as the PRISM Awards. The piercingly blue eyes of his eyes are believed to be his most attractive aspect. They are also considered as a trademark, and are credited for helping him play characters with rough edges but empathetic. In 2006, he appeared on People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
